I have just finished composing Kipple, a trio for clarinet, cello and piano. Pictured above is the cello part. I have adapted the notation system for gesture based, as opposed to pitch-based, writing from Aaron Cassidy. The piece at large is based somewhat on finite automata theory, in which the players move from one section to another when a particular situation arises.
